Tex gets a new bone!!!

As most of you may know, we have a GIANT dog, and he's still growing - he's an 11 month old Great Dane. Over the past couple months we have discovered the new challenge of finding a toy that lasts and keeps his attention. The plush toys are no longer a staple - we even tried one with 4 layers of PVC, which got destroyed within 3 days (poor T-Rex). Simple raw hides take him 15 minutes to devour. The only thing that is left in our house is his Kong and another rubber puzzle type toy. The poor guy is left searching for something fun to play with and it ends up being something he's not allowed to play with! Hmmm, what to do?! Well, the other day, Tim came home from the local feed barn where we get his food with this GIANT bone. We've always seen them and stared at them in awe, but never bought one just because we were afraid of him choking on bone fragments. Well, the lady at the store said it is amazing with her German Shepard and since its so big, we dont have to worry about bone fragments. Im still not happy about it, but I cant help but to smile when I see how happy the big guy is with his new bone. We'll let you know how it lasts!!!
