Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my dad - they are paying off! He was moved from the ICU yesterday, is able to get out of bed and walk, and will hopefully be home as early as tomorrow (Wednesday)! Its going to be a long road - he has to give up smoking and no more heavy drinking. He's gotta get exercising and make sure his blood pressure is low. He'll be managing this medically, and as long as he keeps his blood pressure low and keeps healthy, he should be ok! Its scary to think that this will never really "heal," so he's gotta be careful, but we have faith that there will be many more years to come!!
For a Grayce update - the past week has brought many exciting things with her! She learned to ROLL OVER! She can roll over from her tummy to her back, its so exciting and we are trying to get it on tape. She is still working on the laughing thing - it only happens once or twice a day - so that one will be harder to get on tape but I will try. She is learning to focus on things and can grab at things and tries to play with them and stick them in her mouth. Shes not very good yet - its kind of like a right handed person trying to write with their left hand - but shes working on it! We also think she's teething. The drooling, the chewing, the fussiness, and when I rub her gums, she stops fussing in delight and likes to knaw on my finger. I dont imagine a tooth will come in anytime soon, but we'll keep you posted! She is 3 1/2 months now - her next doctors appointment is in the first week of March so I will definitely update you on her stats then!
I will try to get pictures and/or videos posted soon!
