She's Almost 1!

Hi all!
I need to apologize for slacking off on the blog posts, I have been SO busy! I started a new quarter at Heald teaching 3 classes & I also started a part time job working from home. Things have been good, Grayce is turning into a little toddler more and more each day. Its so exciting, but its also a reminder that we are graduating into a whole new phase in her life and she is no longer a tiny baby! We are celebrating her 1st birthday this weekend and her actual birthday is on Tuesday the 27th. Can you believe it?!?!! A year ago I was about to pop!!

So I know I owe you a ton of pictures, and I will give you a few, but here are a few highlights going on with Miss Grayce these past few weeks:
- 4 top teeth are now making their way into place!
- She is making the signs for "milk," "more," and "all done."
- She says "Uh oh" now - or more like "Uh oooo!" :)
- When we say "So big!" she raises her arms up over her head
- She plays peek-a-boo with us
- She can identify things better and better - 1st it was "where is your book?" and she would go get it, "where is your monkey?" and as of last week, I can ask her where the baby is on her yogurt and she points to it. Funny, she is slightly obsessed with the baby on the yogurt! LOL
- As of this weekend, she is transitioning to whole milk. She is only having 1 bottle a day and no more bottles starting next week! Actually, I think Im more excited to not have to buy formula anymore!!
- She loves hugging dolls and stuffed animals & her favorite is her monkey from daddy - she has to bring it with her out of her crib everytime.
- We've discovered that she loves animals - the past 2 times we've taken her to a petting zoo, she's been thrilled! Just like mommy :)

We cant wait for this weekend - celebrating her birthday with family and friends!

Here are some pictures from our trip to Fog Willow Farms in Wilton. We went with her friends and it was a blast. Grayce had so much fun playing with the animals!

So big!

Our little pumpkin fitting right in :)

Where ya going???

HI!!

Grayce and her friends, from left: Elise, Grayce, Isabella, Harrison, & Ellie. Grayce would not let go of that snack trap or screaming would ensue. I think the kids were wondering what her deal was....(below)
A long day at the farm...
