May 2010

18 months has been a fun month for Grayce. She is learning SO many new words and phrases, and has really started to develop a true identity. We recently enrolled her in toddler gymnastics - she is completely in her element - she LOVES to run and jump and play with all the cool things they have there. She loved the trampoline and balance beams the best. We went to our first class last Wednesday and I think we'll sign up for good.

We also took her out on the lake for the first time this year. Its the first time she really has expressed how excited she was to be out on the water. "Water! Water! Duck! Duck! Wow!" She was just thrilled to be out there. A funny moment was when she accidentally lost a wrapper from a snack and it flew overboard. She watched as it floated away - "Uh oh! Uh oh!!!" The "Uh oh's!" went on for a good minute until you could hear how heart breaking it was to her that her wrapper was getting further and further away. So we asked her if she wanted my dad to turn around and get it. "Ya! Ya!" So we turned around and as the "uh oh's" continued, my mom was able to net it and bring it back in the boat. We felt much better because we didnt litter! :) Such an environmentally conscience child :)

Here are some pictures from the last month. Enjoy! More to come so check back soon. Im going to try and upload some videos too - but as you bloggers know, they take forever! :)

With her new baby doll from Grammy and Grandpa (she loves it!)

Backyard pool day!

You always need a good sloppy eating picture :) She will only eat orange Mac n Cheese...I try to give her the "good for you" Annies White Cheddar and she wont eat it. Orange cheddar? GIMMMEEE!! So funny!
