Trip to Orange County

Here are a few pictures from our trip down to Orange County from 1/8-1/12. My mom, Grayce and I were down there for my brothers birthday and to visit some friends. Its very hard to visit, there is so many people to see & so little time! Especially with a baby who needs her naps! So we were doing a lot of juggling, and Grayce was a trooper. She was totally off schedule - and for anyone who has kids, you know how cranky they will get with that!! But she did well considering the circumstances. Unfortunately, my mom got sick the first night we arrived, so she spent most the weekend in the hotel room. :( She started to feel a bit better by Sunday so we went to Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano. Grayce lovessss animals and is not the least bit phased by them, almost a little too brave most times. Maybe its because she has a giant animal of her own at home or shes got her mamas love for animals. :)

Visiting the goats

Uncle Ryan being a goof as usual :)

Grayce with her signature "touchdown" pose (Tim created a monster :) )

Waiting with Gma to take a ride on the pony!

She was soooo excited!

Zoomar's is part of Omar's Exotic Birds - so there were all these exotic birds lining the horse trail.

After Zoomars, we took Grayce home to get her changed (she was full of goat poo haha), and we went on a playdate with Gage, my friend Janelle's son. Gage is about 3 months older. They love seeing eachother - always hugging and kisses one another (yikes!! :) ) - but they are so cute. What started as a visit near a fountain, turned into a visit in a fountain!! But they had a ton of fun and we got a lot of great pictures.

We met with our fabulous old neighbors from when we lived in Mission Viejo at Bagels & Brew (our FAVE). Tanya, who generously loaned her home to us for our wedding, came with her baby boy Colt, who is around 8 months old. Grayce couldnt help but to give him kisses (this is her new favorite thing to do - kiss babies and stuffed animals).

On the last day, Grayce and I went to visit with my best friends from High School. Thanks to the magic of Facebook, we were able to reunite and arrange a playdate with our babies!! Anne has a 12 month old named Everett and Ashley also has a 12 month old named Mylee. It was so great to see them and catch up!!

The last night, I went out to happy hour with some old friends from work. After all the long days & fun, Grayce still managed to give us a smile!
