So yes, it goes without saying that life has been incredibly busy. Since my last post, Tim has taken to working 15-18 hour days, 7 days a week for the past 5 months, and I have accepted a full time faculty position at Heald College. Grayce has turned 2 (on October 27th), and we are new home owners! We moved in December and almost immediately went away on vacation to Orange County for a week. We got back and headed straight back to work! I'm dying for Tim to have weekends off again, but I will just have to exercise as much patience as possible. Once he is back home on weekends, I envision us working on house projects together, finishing the unpacking process, and organizing each of our rooms. But for now, we will just have to take it a day at a time.
Here are some pictures of the recent happenings in our life....
Halloween 2010 - Grayce was a cupcake & Tex was a bucking bronco :)

Hanging out with Uncle Ryan

Grayce got to pick a balloon from the giant selection of balloons at South Coast Plaza. They've had those there since I was a kid!

Uncle Ryan bought her a balloon :)

A note from Santa along with his half eaten cookie. :)

Grayce asked Santa for a pink bike & he delivered!!! :)

We also went to Disneyland - that was one of the highlights of my life, what an amazing day we had with Grayce. To see things like that through your child's eyes goes up there on the top of my list of the best feelings in the world :) I am going to do a separate post of Disneyland pictures, just because it's midnight and I'm exhausted! Blogging sure does take some time!! Til then... :)
I can't believe the hours your husband has been working - especially with you working full time on top of that. I hope it settles down soon - I'm tired just thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your Disney pics!
